Registration on Saturday & Sunday opens at 6:30am. You can only check-in on the same day for which you are competing.
HYROX DC Race Map

- Athlete & Spectator registration is on the first floor, Level 1
- Volunteer check-in is also on Level 1
- The race area is upstairs on Level 2

Run Laps
This is a 2-lap run course. Instructions are the same for laps 1 through 8.
- Go into the Roxzone the 2nd time you see the IN arch
- Farmer’s Carry: You must complete 2 LOOPS of the farmer’s carry course.

Women’s Open

Lauren Weeks is unstoppable right now. She just set another world record, this time for the Women’s Open division, taking the North American Championships with a blistering time of 55:38. She beat the old world record by over 2 minutes 🤯.
Lucy Davis has had an awesome HYROX season thus far, putting up another really impressive time of 58:32, taking second place.
Katherine Fahsbender has risen to an elite level in a short period of time, tackling DEKA races, as well as HYROX. She finished third with an impressive 59:20.
Several other big names finished in the top 10, including:

- 5th: Terra Jackson: 1:03:01
- 6th: Corinne Fitzgerald: 1:03:56
- 7th: Brooklyn Nichols: 1:04:39

Men’s Open
Dylan Scott (USA) took the top spot at HYROX DC with a time of 53:42, followed closely by Charlie Botterill from Great Britain only 37 seconds back. Third place, Tiago Lousa from Portugal, was over a minute behind Charlie to round out the top 3.
Charlie also set a new Men’s Open world record for the 16-24 age group ⚡️.

Mixed Doubles
There weren’t a lot of big names throwing down in the Mixed Doubles division, but we still had a really fun race for the podium. The top 3 teams all finished within 26 seconds of each other. Taylor Haney & Jen Weston from the 40-49 age group took the overall top spot in 58:44.

Race Preview
There are more than 2,000 athletes scheduled to race at HYROX DC this weekend. They will all be vying for the opportunity to call themselves the North American Open champion in their respective age group. As a reminder, here are the HYROX age groups for the Open division that are competing this weekend:
- 16-24
- 25-29
- 30-34
- 35-39
- 40-44
- 45-49
- 50-54
- 55-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70-74
- 75-79
Open Men race on Saturday while the Open Women go on Sunday.
- Doubles teams are reversed, with men on Sunday and women on Saturday
- Mixed Doubles races Sunday afternoon/evening to close out the event
- All relay division compete on Saturday
Even though there aren’t any Pro races at HYROX DC, there are still some big names that will be in attendance. Once we have them, we’ll update this post with some names to keep an eye on.
Prize Money
There is no prize money for the HYROX North American Open Championships. In the 2024/25 season, only the 4 major races and the 2025 World Championships award prize money to top finishers.
