The big story at HYROX Melbourne was Chris Woolley’s redemption. He improved on his 1:03:37 time from HYROX Sydney by over 4 minutes, finishing in 59:27 to take the win. We wrote a complete breakdown of all his splits between the two races, which you can read over on Hybrid Fitness Media (A Tale of Two Woolleys).
On the women’s side, Mareesa Robertson took the win in 1:07:33, while also setting a new record for the 45-49 age group, with American Talitha Scholtz only 30 seconds back in second.
