2024 DEKA FIT Events: Schedule & Locations

Spartan DEKA has released their schedule for 2024 DEKA FIT events. There are 17 events taking place from February to November, with the DEKA FIT World Championships going down in late November or early December (date & location TBD).

Let’s take a look at the exact dates & locations for all 2024 DEKA FIT events.

Most US events only feature the DEKA FIT distance. They do not include DEKA STRONG or DEKA MILE. DEKA FIT Midwest in July also features the new DEKA ULTRA distance. This is the only DEKA ULTRA distance race scheduled for 2024.

DEKA Trifecta events in Spain will feature all DEKA distances—FIT, MILE, and STRONG. Most also contain DEKA FIT TEAMS, but none of them have a RUCK division.

DEKA FIT Divisions

There are typically 5 divisions within each DEKA FIT event.

• Open: Open to all levels
• Age Group: Eligible for Age Group recognition
• Elite: Eligible for prizes & monetary rewards
• DEKA FIT Ruck: Weight implement (30lb male, 20lb female) required to be weighed in & out. All rucks or backpacks are allowed. No weight vests.
• Team: Teams of 2 (female, male, coed) divide and conquer the DEKA FIT arena. Learn more about DEKA FIT teams.

2024 DEKA FIT Elite Prize Money

The prize money for 2024 DEKA FIT events is only awarded to the top 3 athletes in the elite heats. Age group heats will receive podium recognition.

For all U.S.-based DEKA FIT events backed by Spartan DEKA (excluding Road Shows), the prize money is as follows:

• 🥇 First Place: $1,000
• 🥈 Second Place: $500
• 🥉 Third Place: $250

For all international DEKA Trifecta events, prize money is awarded to the elite heats for DEKA FIT only. Prize money is as follows:

• 🥇 First Place: $600
• 🥈 Second Place: $400
• 🥉 Third Place: $200

DEKA FIT Road Shows that are not backed by Spartan DEKA (SoFlo & Colorado) have elite heats, but do not award prize money.

DEKA FIT Ultra World Cup

The elite heats in the DEKA FIT Ultra World Cup at DEKA FIT Midwest receive the following prize money:

• 🥇 First Place: $2,000
• 🥈 Second Place: $1,000
• 🥉 Third Place: $500

Finishers Receive

All finishers of a DEKA FIT event receive:

• Finisher medal
• Finisher t-shirt
• Professional photos (for an additional fee)
• Bottle of PWR Lift
