Women’s Elite 15 Race
Congrats to Lauren Griffith who was the only athlete to qualify for World Championships (WC) at this race. She finished 5th in 1:04:05.
The top 4 athletes already qualified for WC and roll downs only go to the fifth overall place.
Lauren Weeks took the win again, but this time it wasn’t Meg Jacoby behind her. Linda Meier had an incredible race and finished in second. Jacoby rounded out the podium, and Vivian Tafuto ran an well-balanced race to finish in 4th.
- Lauren Weeks – 1:01:20 – $6,000
- Linda Meier – 1:02:31 – $4,000
- Meg Jacoby – 1:02:37 – $2,500

Men’s Elite 15 Race
The men’s race saw Dylan Scott basically lead from start to finish. He took all the momentum he built up from Fort Lauderdale last weekend, and unleashed another incredible performance, winning by just over 90 seconds in 56:37.
He finished in style with a forward roll and some finger guns:
Graham Halliday had an impressive come-from-behind performance on the wall balls to surprise everyone when he crossed the line in second with a time of 58:08.
Rich Ryan was fighting with Colin Stiefer for what we thought would be the second spot, but it ended up being a fight for third. Colin had a rough go with the wall balls, which is typically a strength for him, and Rich crossed the line in third with a time of 58:16.
Ryan Kent actually snuck into 4th place, and Stiefer dropped to 5th.
Congratulations to Dylan, Graham, and Rich for qualifying for World Championships! π

Men’s GORUCK Division
The race was neck and neck from almost start to finish, with Jarrett Newby & Dylan Scott fighting it out for the top spot. Newby edged out Scott by 2 seconds, taking the win in 1:00:47. It was an exciting race for 3rd as well, with Eric Williams finishing 3 seconds ahead of Grady Jackson to take the third podium spot with a time of 1:02:10.

- Dylan Scott – 1:00:49 – $1,500
- Eric Williams – 1:02:10 – $500
Women’s GORUCK Division
For the second day in a row, it was the Lauren Weeks show. She finished in first, less than a minute slower than her time from last night without a weight vest.
Vivian Tafuto put up a solid fight, staying within a minute of Lauren for most of the race. Lauren just had too much and couldn’t be caught.
Lauren Rantala held off Camilla Massa to round out the podium with a time of 1:08:05.
- Lauren Weeks – 1:02:11 – $3,000
- Vivian Tafuto – 1:03:32 – $1,500
- Lauren Rantala – 1:08:05 – $500
Incorrect Sled Weight
Almost a week after the event, Hybrid Fitness Media took to Instagram to mention that the sled weights for some women were incorrect. It looks like it affected most (if not all) of the women’s open division, and possibly some of the men as well.
This was the second time using the new Centr equipment, although from those who were in Fort Lauderdale two weekends before, it seems they got it correct there. Mistakes happen, and I’m sure it wasn’t intentional, but that’s a pretty big oversight. And it’s quite unfortunate to those whom were affected negatively by pushing and/or pulling extra weight.
