HYROX Doha in Qatar Announces 35k in Prize Money
One more chance for HYROX athletes to earn some prize money before World Championships in Nice, France in June.

On May 10-11, 2024, HYROX Doha in Qatar is giving away $35,000 in prize money.
May 10th will be exclusively for women (both racers & spectators). It looks like no men are allowed at the event on Saturday.
Women’s Open, Women’s Open Doubles, Women’s Pro Doubles, and Women’s Relay
On Sunday, May 11th, the event is open to everyone, and includes all the usual HYROX divisions, including another opportunity to race Women’s Open, Women’s Open Doubles, and Women’s Relay. The Women’s Pro Doubles division only races on Saturday the 10th.
The HYROX Doha event is the first time we’ve seen adaptive divisions open for registration at a HYROX event. There are Men’s Adaptive and Women’s Adaptive divisions on the sign up page.
It’ll be exciting to see how many adaptive athletes give it a go, and it’ll certainly be incredible to watch. Let’s hope for a livestream.
HYROX Doha Prize Money
Hybrid Fitness Media first broke the story that the prize purse for HYROX Doha totals $35,000. We aren’t exactly sure how the money will be distributed, but I believe both the Men’s & Women’s Pro Doubles events will get $5,000 each.
I’d imagine the individual Men’s Pro and Women’s Pro will also be awarded prize money, likely $5,000 each.
Back in September 2023, HYROX Dubai gave away $10,000, $5,000 each to the men’s and women’s pro divisions. Ryan Kent & Lauren Weeks both made the long trip and scored some cash. Winners received $2,500, while second place took home $1,500, and third place was awarded $1,000. I would expect HYROX Doha would award similar prize money for the individual pro divisions.
