Whether you’re interested in doing your first HYROX race, or you’ve raced before, the HYROX ticketing process has undergone some changes for the 2025/26 season.
We’ve outlined everything you need to know about the changes, as well as general information on how to buy HYROX tickets, how much they cost, the new Flex Add-On, and more.

Where to buy HYROX tickets?
The only way to purchase HYROX tickets for the 2025/26 season is directly from an official HYROX website.
HYROX runs multiple websites, depending on the country or region it operates in. You can see all the HYROX websites & accounts here. You should only purchase a HYROX ticket from one of these official websites. If someone tries to sell you a ticket in any other way, it is likely a scam.
Once you start the checkout process on the HYROX website, you have 20 minutes to complete it, otherwise the tickets will be released to the next person in the queue.
How much do HYROX tickets cost?
HYROX tickets vary in price, depending on the location, venue, and currency of the host country. Based on recent HYROX events in the 2025/26 season, we’ve put together the estimated ticket price for a HYROX race in several different countries.
- Certain HYROX events, like the HYROX World Championship, might cost more than our estimates.
- In most cases, HYROX Open & Pro divisions cost the same amount, for both single & doubles races
- HYROX Adaptive tickets cost the same as Singles
- HYROX adds a 6% processing fee to all tickets. That is not included in our chart below.

HYROX Resale Tickets
Up through the 2024/25 season, HYROX tickets were available for resale. Tickets were bought & sold on several Facebook groups, as well as via the Rox Tickets app (now “Hybrid Tickets”).
Starting with the 2025/26 season, all tickets must be purchased from HYROX. You can no longer buy resale HYROX tickets from a third-party.
What happens to tickets that are refunded?
Refunded tickets will not be immediately resold. About 4 weeks before the event, all refunded tickets will be made available for purchase. The Flex Add-On will not be available at that time, so ticket sales at that point are final.
HYROX Tickets Flex Add-On
Starting with the 2025/26 season, HYROX has introduced a new ticket add-on, generally referred to as “Flex Tickets.”
HYROX Flex Tickets give you the ability to either receive a refund for your ticket, or change the name of the athlete participating. With the Flex Add-on…
- You can receive a 100% refund if you’re 7 or more days out from your race
- You can receive a 50% refund if you’re between 1 and 6 days out from your race
- You can change the name of one person on a Doubles or Relay ticket
The HYROX Flex Add-On must be purchased at the time of your ticket purchase. You cannot purchase it after the fact.
Here’s a breakdown of a HYROX ticket purchase, with and without the Flex Add-On:

NOTE: “100% refund” is a bit misleading because you don’t get the cost of the Flex Add-On back.
Cost
How much does the HYROX Flex Ticket Add-On Cost?
- Singles/Solo Tickets – $25 USD
- Doubles Team – $35 USD
- Relay Team: $40 USD
The cost for the Doubles & Relay teams cover the entire team. Each athlete does not need to pay that fee.
How to change the name on my HYROX ticket?
The Flex Add-On is required in order to change the name of your ticket, and this can only be done for Doubles & Relay teams. Singles tickets are not eligible for name changes (only refunds).
1. Login to your HYROX account
2. Look for the option to “Re-personalize” your ticket
3. Update the ticket with the new athlete’s information
Refunds
If you’ve purchased the Flex Ticket Add-On, you are entitled to a refund of your ticket price. Refunds must be requested by 7:59 AM local time the day before you race.
Solo/Singles Athletes
For those competing in a HYROX singles race, the Flex Add-on is basically like insurance. If you get injured or cannot compete, you are entitled to a refund. HYROX will then release your ticket to the next person on the waiting list.

✅ You can get a refund for the ticket price (minus the cost of the flex add-on)
✅ You can get a refund for the Sportograf photo package, if you purchased it
As long as you notify HYROX 7 days or more before your race date, you’ll receive a 100% refund (minus the cost you paid for the Flex Add-On). That drops to a 50% refund if you notify them between 1 and 6 days prior to racing.
Doubles Teams
For those competing in a HYROX doubles race, the Flex Add-on can be used to either receive a refund or replace one member of your team.
✅ You can change the name of one of your team members (not both)
✅ You can get a refund for the ticket price (minus the cost of the flex add-on)
✅ You can get a refund for the Sportograf photo package, if you purchased it
Relay Teams
For those competing in a HYROX relay, the Flex Add-on can be used to either receive a refund or replace one member of your team.
✅ You can change the name of one of your relay team members (not 2 or 3 or 4)
✅ You can get a refund for the ticket price (minus the cost of the flex add-on)
✅ You can get a refund for the Sportograf photo package, if you purchased it
Ticket Personalization
Prior to the 2025/26 season, you may remember that you had to “personalize” your tickets any time between when you bought them and your race date. It was easier to sell tickets to someone else if you hadn’t personalized them yet, and you could avoid any transfer fees.
However, now you must personalize your ticket when you buy it.
This means you are required to provide the following information for yourself, and all of your teammates (if racing HYROX Doubles or Relay):
- First & Last Name
- Email Address
- Date of Birth
- Nationality
Make sure you have this information before the tickets go on sale. There is no way to change the information for a singles ticket, and you can only change one member of a Doubles or Relay team, and only IF you buy the flex add-on.
Photo Package
When buying your HYROX ticket, you will have the option to add the Sportograf photo package. Starting in the 2025/26 season, you have two options for photos:
- purchase the photo package at the time you buy your ticket
- purchase your photos directly from Sportograf after the event (usually about 48 hours)
You cannot add the photo package to your ticket after you’ve purchased it.

Race With a Friend
If you’re running a solo race (either Open or Pro), you can race in the same wave as your friend. HYROX offers a “race with a friend” option for an additional charge. When you buy your HYROX ticket, you can purchase the “race with a friend” add-on for around $10 USD.
- Only one athlete needs to buy the add-on
- It’s only available if you’re in the same gender & same division (i.e. both men, both racing Open)
Can you race HYROX with multiple friends or a group?
There is no option to race with MULTIPLE people. If you are all put in the same wave by HYROX, then you can race together. But you cannot pay extra to race with multiple people—only ONE other person.
Spectator Tickets

You can expect to pay around $10-15/day USD (€7.50-€10/day).
Additional Ticket Questions
Here are a few more things to know about HYROX tickets:
Does HYROX run sales or discounts?
No. We have never seen HYROX run an early bird sale or offer a discount on tickets.
Does HYROX offer refunds?
Yes, but only if you purchase the “Flex Add-On” at checkout. This optional add-on entitles you to a 100% refund 7 days out from your race, or a 50% refund if you’re inside the 7-day window.
Can I transfer my HYROX ticket to another event?
No. Even with the Flex Add-On, transferring your ticket to another HYROX event is not possible.
Can I switch from Singles to Doubles, or switch divisions?
No. All ticket changes must occur within the same division as the original ticket. That means that partner changes must be of the same gender. You cannot switch from Singles to Doubles, or Women’s Doubles to Mixed Doubles, etc.
Do HYROX tickets cost more closer to an event?
No. HYROX does not raise ticket prices as an event gets closer. Most HYROX tickets are sold out well before an event takes place.
Do HYROX races sell out?
Yes. In fact, most HYROX races sell out. Some really popular HYROX events sell out within minutes of tickets being released.
Does my athlete ticket give me spectator access?
Yes, but only for the day of your race. For multi-day HYROX events, your athlete ticket only provides access to the venue on the day that you race. If you’d like to enter the venue on a different day, you are required to purchase a spectator ticket separately. This is a new rule for the 2025/26 season.
