Is HYROX coming to Vancouver, British Columbia? They haven’t announced an official HYROX race in Vancouver, but it is the third largest metropolitan area in Canada. Will the 2025/26 season finally be the season we see HYROX in Vancouver?!
Vancouver has many upsides for a fitness race:
- Large metropolitan area
- Beautiful, waterfront location
- Several ideal venues, large enough for a HYROX event
- Several HYROX affiliate gyms in the Vancouver area
However, one of the downsides for a Vancouver HYROX is:
- Much further to travel for East Coast & European athletes
Possible Venues
There are several viable venues where HYROX could host a Vancouver event.
- BC Place: British Columbia’s largest & most flexible event space, with a retractable roof and capacity of 10,000+
- Vancouver Convention Centre: Flexible indoor convention halls in downtown Vancouver, right on the water
- Richmond Olympic Oval: Originally built for the 2010 Winter Olympics, it features a large, open floor plan. It’s 35 minutes from downtown Vancouver but only a stone’s throw from the Vancouver International Airport.
I think we might see HYROX in Vancouver as early as late 2025, or possibly early 2026.
Until then, there are others ways you can get involved if you live in or around the area…

There are several cities with HYROX races that are close enough to Vancouver and easy to travel to. You can find relatively inexpensive flights from Vancouver to these other races:

HYROX PFTs in Vancouver
As of June 2025, there are no listed HYROX PFT events in the Vancouver area. You can check the HYROX PFT site for an up-to-date lists of events, but HYROX only has 3 regions available in Canada (as of now).

Therefore, it’s best to reach out to one of the gyms below and ask directly about HYROX events.

HYROX Classes in Vancouver
There are several gyms in the Vancouver area that offer group fitness classes designed to prepare you for HYROX.
604 Athletics
604 Athletics on Main St. in Vancouver offers HYROX classes on Wednesdays at the following times:
- 5:00am
- 6:00am
- 7:00am
- 8:00am
- 10:00am
- 12:00pm
- 3:00pm
- 4:00pm
- 5:00pm
- 6:00pm
- 7:00pm
Realistically, I doubt they get enough people to sign up for all those time slots, so they probably cancel many of them. But give them a call to see which HYROX class times are most popular, and considering dropping in for one to see what it’s like.
It costs $35 to drop-in to a HYROX class.
Function Health Club
The Function Health Club offers quite a few HYROX classes throughout the week in their downtown Vancouver location. You can view their full schedule here.

F45 False Creek
F45 False Creek offers a HYROX Strong classes on Sundays from 12:30-1:30pm.
- Classes are around $35 to drop-in
“HYROX STRONG is a resistance session designed to build the strength you need for race day. Expect to progressively build over the weeks to develop posterior chain strength for sleds, leg endurance for lunges and wall balls, pulling and pressing strength for ski erg and burpees, plus grip and calf strength for farmers carries and running efficiency. This session will give you the confidence to tackle your next HYROX race.”

You can still train for any of the many HYROX events happening all over the US, as well as HYROX Toronto. There are over a dozen HYROX gyms and training centers in the Vancouver area. You’ll find a few F45 gyms, as well as boutique gyms, and some CrossFit gyms that have jumped on the HYROX train.

F45 is a global HYROX partner, so most of their gyms accommodate some type of HYROX training. Even if your F45 gym isn’t listed on the HYROX website as an official training club, I would still call them up and ask about HYROX.
