We all love a good photo of us working out, right? And for many of us, completely a HYROX race is a big deal, and definitely something worth remembering.
I’m sure you’ll have your friends, family, and workout buddies snapping photo & video of you along the course, but professional photos can go a long way. We’ll explain all the options for buying & accessing HYROX photos, and what to expect if you pay for photos.
What is the HYROX Photo Package?
The HYROX photo package is an optional upgrade to your HYROX ticket. When you sign up for an event, you can add a photo package to your cart. HYROX then provides you with a coupon code for 100% off at their photography partner, Sportograf.
After the event, you can go to Sportograf to locate, purchase, and access your photos. Even if you don’t buy a photo package from HYROX, you can still purchase your photos directly from Sportograf after the race (more on that below).
HYROX Photo Package Cost
You can have your friends take smartphone photos for you, but if you want professional HYROX photos, you’ll need to buy a photo package. The pricing is different depending on which HYROX division you race in.
NOTE for 2025/26 Season: You must buy the photo package at the same time you buy your race ticket. You cannot add a photo package to your ticket, but you can still purchase photos after the event directly from Sportograf.
Here are the prices if you purchase your HYROX photos before the event:

How to Purchase HYROX Photos
Once you factor in HYROX’s 6% fee, the cost to buy photos is about the same before and after the event. Therefore, it doesn’t hurt to wait until after so you can see all the photos they have of you.
To buy photos before your race…
- Navigate to the event page for your race on hyrox.com
- Click on Buy Tickets Here, and then click Athlete Tickets
- Click on the Add-Ons category
- You should see photo packages for Singles, Doubles, and Relay. Choose your division. You can add multiple photo packages if you’re competing in more than one race.
- Click the + icon to add a package to your cart
- Click the Proceed button
- Walk through the steps to complete checkout
If you didn’t buy photos before the race, you can still purchase them. About 48 hours after the event…
- Navigate to sportograf.com
- Search for your event
- Click on the correct event
- Upload a selfie to use facial recognition to locate your photos
- Follow the prompts to purchase your photos
How to Get Your Pre-Purchased HYROX Photos
How long does it take to get HYROX photos? It takes about 48 hours for HYROX photos to be processed and uploaded to Sportograf’s website. Once uploaded, you can upload a selfie, and Sportograf’s facial recognition software will locate most, if not all, of your photos from the event.
If you’ve pre-purchased the HYROX photo package, follow these steps to get your photos:
- Go to sportograf.com and search for your HYROX event
- Enter the email address you used for race entry and click “Send Validation Link”
- Check your inbox for the email titled “Validation successful – Search for your images now” and click “Validate & Search”
- Upload a selfie
- Select “Buy Foto-Flat”
- Enter your Sportograf Ticket ID (below the barcode on your receipt beginning with US) at checkout to bring the total to $0

HYROX Photo Certificate
Regardless of whether you pre-purchased HYROX photos or buy the Foto-Flat option after the event, you have the option to create & download a HYROX certificate.
- Choose from any of the photos that HYROX captured during your event
- Add your name, the event name, your finishing time, and division

Here’s a quick tip to get HYROX photos for free.
- Navigate to sportograf.com
- Search for and select your event
- Look in the top-right corner for a star icon and the words “See Best-of”
- Click that link and look through the photos in the gallery
- You can save those photos in decent resolution
There are usually 50-80 “best of” photos for every event.
Please be sure to give Sportograf credit for the images wherever you use them on the web or social media.
Additional Questions
Is the HYROX photo package worth it?
Most HYROX athletes who pay for photos are happy with the ones they receive. Occasionally, you might not be satisfied with your photos. Unfortunately, if you’ve already paid for them, there’s not much you can do. It might be worth paying a little extra and buying them after the race; this way you can see all of your photos before you buy them.
While rare, there have been a few occasions where Sportograf admitted they didn’t process the photos correctly. They took another week or so to rework them, and emailed everyone that new photos were available.
How many photos do you get from HYROX?
If you purchase the official HYROX photo package, you typically get between 20-40 photos. This varies from race to race, and each participant might get a different number of photos.
Do they photograph you at every HYROX station?
It’s possible, but highly unlikely. Typically, you’ll get photos from 3-6 HYROX stations. At each station, they usually take several photos of you at the station. So be prepared, and when you see the photographer, strike a pose!
Can you order HYROX photos after your race?
Yes. Usually, you’ll get an email from Sportograf (HYROX’s photography partner) with a link to view some samples. If you don’t, simply head to sportograf.com and search for your event. If you like what you see, you can purchase your photos directly from Sportograf’s website. The photos will be a few extra dollars than if you purchased them ahead of time.
How long does it take to get HYROX photos?
It takes around 48 hours after the conclusion of the event for your photos to be uploaded to the Sportograf website. If you race on day 1 of a multi-day event, please be patient.
Who is Sportograf?
Sportograf is a professional event photography company that HYROX has hired to take photos at all of their events. They have a network of photographers all over the world.
When you buy photos from HYROX’s website, you’ll receive a coupon code for 100% off to use at sportograf.com. Sportograf is where you ultimately have to go to buy & access your HYROX photos.
